Fisher's Way

The city of Fisher’s Way is one of three vastly different atmospheres. The part of the city which rests firmly upon the continent, known as “Shanties Town”, is divided into plots which are rented by members from many different races and is the main thoroughfare for travelers heading east or west along the coast.

The inner part of the city, known as the “Haedensturm”, is separated from Shanties Town by the so-called Sturmwall, a great crescent structure going form coastline to coastline. The Haedensturm is divided into several districts, some of which rest on the precipice between earth and sea where the Sturmwall ends. From the Exalted Depths district of the Haedensturm, the Council of Paruns rules the surrounding area. The council also claims dominion over the farmland in the region, known as the Blessing, but chooses to let the River Bank handle the business end of things.

Lastly, both parts of the city connect to a massive bridge, now broken in some places, which leads to an island a few miles offshore. This island, which used to contain many great buildings and marvels, has been almost completely flooded due to an event known as “The Shoal”. Known today as the Sunken City, the bridges between the highest spires of the old structures now function as roads among the waters, and the island has become haunted by strange things. Very few venture there in search of lore and loot, and even fewer return.
